Mein Schiff 5 is a premium-class cruise ship. It was being built in Finland for almost two years before it was put into service on the 15th of July, 2016. It has length of 295 metres and consists of 15 decks. Mein Schiff 5 is Mein Schiff 4’s sister-ship. Most of the cabins - 80% of them - have balconies. Apartments and guest rooms for families are also available. Traditional idea of an intimate, club-like atmosphere is maintained onboard. Guests – mainly middle-aged people – praise the casual atmosphere, access to sports centre facilities and wide-range of food and beverage services available on TUI Cruises ships. As a part of „Premium all inclusive” policy, almost all meals and beverages are free of charge. On the 3rd of August, 2016 - during the ship’s visitation at the Pomeranian Wharf - commemorative plaque of the ship was unveiled in the Avenue of Passenger Ships in Gdynia. Journalists and photographers were given an opportunity to tour the ship. Coverage of this tour is included in the presentation.
